DIP SHIM (esp)
Dip Shim, originally from Madrid, is a dj/producer running the new record shop ‘Sound+Matter’ at Karlskronaplan in Malmö, which has become the new water hole for techno-thirsting kids. This producer released lot of music throughout the years, everything from electro and acid to house and ambient under different aliases, such as Dip Shim or The Happy Man & The Time Machine. Dip Shim is tending to the community of electronic music lovers, helping Malmös music lovers to find great music on vinyl and providing a place for socializing and supporting Malmö electronic music scene, so we’re happy to have him showcase his skills as a DJ on this night! Expect a hot and speedy electro-techno vinyl workout!
Finally back in Lund where her journey started, we are happy to say that Petrina Hinas joins the line up. Her sets always offer a playful mixture of melancholic, deep and melodic sounds, and you can feel her energy and passion for the music during every second when she’s on stage. Hopefully you´ve danced to her praised sets at places such as Oskrivet, Moriskan, Lundakarnevalen or here at Mejeriet just to name a few, now she´s super happy to be back and play for you again! Within the future, Petrina will follow up her entrance to the scene with dropping her first solo single. Expect a lot of Petrina Hinas these coming years.
Zain Badat is a DJ from Lund that after less than a year behind the decks, has managed to secure gigs from London to Umeå, and almost everything in-between. His style is a fresh take on house music that blends elements from funk, dub, and tech, filled with bouncy baselines that are guaranteed to make you move on the dance floor. After sharing headlines with acts such as Baba Stiltz, and Axel Boman, he's back in his hometown to make sure no eardrums go un-vibrated.
